The owners, Justin and Ryan, share a passion for beer which gives this space a specially curated selection of options for any beverage connoisseur.

There is a variety of options you can choose from at the Hop Shop: lagers to stouts, hard ciders to IPAs, and even wines and spirits. You can find nearly every imaginable local beer company represented in St. Louis Hop Shop. They offer Old Bakery, 4 Hands, Urban Chestnut, Schlafly, Perennial, Earthbound, Rockwell, and so much more. For their wall of spirits, they have Pinckney Bend, Stumpy’s, Still 360, and 12 20 (4 Hands’ line of spirits). It’s with great pride that the Hop Shop’s offerings are over 50% local or regional. Their local sourcing reduces the amount of emissions transmitted from shipping and transportation.

As a way to reduced their in-house waste, St. Louis Hop Shop only offers reusable glasses for the draft beers available at their bar with two size options: a full-glass and half-glass. This reduces the amount of disposable waste and the amount of beer waste. In addition, they prevent paper waste by having their ever-changing drafts menu and upcoming events calendar on their chalkboard wall.

St. Louis Hop Shop is also a beacon for their Cherokee Street community. They have sponsored City Greens’ portable market at Love Bank Park on Cherokee St. & Nebraska Ave. and donated beer to various organizations and community events throughout the St. Louis area.
