PIE GUY PIZZA is a sustainably-focused slice and pie shop in the heart of The Grove.

Pie Guy Pizza composts all of their kitchen and customer food waste, keeping organic material out of the landfill and preventing methane from entering the atmosphere. ALL of their to-go materials, from cups to cutlery, are compostable, and they serve dine-in customers reusable trays for their slices!

Sourcing quality ingredients is important to Pie Guy Pizza. They try to avoid products grown using Round-Up chemical spray by sourcing locally from Buttonwood Farms for their specialty vegetables. Most of their meat comes from Bolyard’s, a Maplewood butcher that buys from small local farms that treat their animals humanely. To avoid food waste, Pie Guy Pizza turns extra dough into garlic knots and bread crumbs.

Water conservation is important to Pie Guy Pizza;  sinks are filled minimally, and any dripping faucets are serviced immediately. No food is thawed in the sinks with running water – instead, they use their walk-in.

Pie Guy Pizza always has veggie slices available, and they offer a 4-nut pesto vegan pie for customers who prefer plant-based meals. Stop by to try their Kool-aid of the day (in a compostable cup), a slice, and a beer from their new bar!
