The Green Dining Alliance program is looking for a qualified candidate for the following opportunity:

Job description: Green Dining Alliance Program Manager

Build and support the program’s presence within the St. Louis regional community and increase the recognition of the Green Dining Alliance (GDA) as the primary regional third-party certifier of restaurant sustainability. Develop and implement strategies for greater efficiency and programmatic development. Successfully market the program, recruit new participants, execute audits, and manage resources. Set quarterly program goals in the areas of diversion, participants, and outreach.

The Green Dining Alliance (GDA) is a restaurant sustainability certification program of earthday365, a 501c3 non-profit organization. The GDA works with restaurants to reduce their environmental impact by completing an on-site audit that evaluates all areas of operations, and setting personalized goals with each Member. We define a “green” restaurant by emphasizing: reducing, recycling, and composting restaurant waste; operating facilities with efficiency; and sourcing sustainable food, to-go ware, and cleaning supplies. The GDA operates throughout the St. Louis region with an emphasis on the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County.

Qualified candidates can email their resume and cover letter to director@earthday-365.org.
