Beignet All Day is a cozy and vibrant café in Webster Groves specializing in fresh, made-to-order beignets. Owner Joe Lamprich was inspired by a trip to New Orleans to bring the French pastries to Saint “Louie”. “B.A.D.” started out in May 2022 and began serving their “New Orleans’ treat with a St. Louis twist” at the Tower Grove and Kirkwood farmers’ markets. After a successful incubation at the Urban Eats Food Hall in the Dutchtown neighborhood, Joe opened a brick and mortar in the Old Orchard area of Webster Groves.

Their light, fluffy but crisp pastries are served with a variety of toppings, from classic powdered sugar or a drizzle of local honey. They also occasionally offer savory flavors such as “Beignets and Gravy” and a unique take on St. Louis style toasted ravioli! Sip their brewed-to-order chicory coffee – a Louisiana specialty – or enjoy a refreshing coconut drink from local vendor Paradise Coconut Drinks. You can even take home a beignet-scented candle from Magnolia Grove Candles made in Affton, MO!

The all-electric, all-LED cafe is phasing in Energy Star equipment, recycling all oil from frying, and beginning a composting program. Rain barrels catch water for irrigating the surrounding landscaping. Frying beignets to order helps limit their food waste; any extras are donated or given out to neighbors.
