St. Louis Earth Day and Green Dining Alliance’s Executive Director, Cassandra Hage, discussed the mission and impact of the GDA in depth with Diane Alt, Managing Editor of Ladue News. Cassandra took the opportunity to describe how all of us can decrease our environmental footprint by dining at GDA restaurants:
“You know, we say that you are what you eat, and we eat three times a day,” Hage says. “Especially when it comes to sustainability, it is incredibly true that each time we eat, we have a huge opportunity to make an impact on the world…
“We are dependent on the earth. It’s just one little thing that we can do over and over again to make a huge collective impact on our planet.”
