We are seeking hosts for our monthly Dine Out Nights, held at GDA-certified locations.
Every first or second Thursday of the month, the GDA brings together a gathering of green dining enthusiasts in the buycott fashion.
By bringing in new faces to GDA restaurants, hosts not only support green dining in St. Louis but also enjoy good company (and good food) in the process. Hosts invite their network of family, friends, and co-workers to join them to:
- support local businesses and producers,
- make a difference through everyday actions,
- “put your money where your mouth is”, and
- explore new neighborhoods and flavors of St. Louis.
Host Perks
All hosts receive:
- A complimentary set of GDA bamboo cutlery – light and reusable, so you can ditch those disposable forks!
- Extra entries into the monthly door prize drawing for each guest you bring. Wrangle together all 11 of your hungry cousins? They’ll each get one entry – and you will be entered 12 times for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to a GDA-certified restaurant.
How to Become a Host
Win cool prizes like our bamboo cutlery set – walk your sustainability talk by reducing your waste in style everywhere you go!
To become an official host (and to qualify for the perks above):
- Contact Olivia Engel to sign up for your Dine Out party and receive more information.
- Promote the Dine Out Night to your personal or professional network.
- Recruit at least six people to join you for food, drinks, or dessert on your Dine Out Night.
- Eat! Drink! And be Merry!
If you can’t host on a Thursday night, no problem. Ask Olivia about becoming an “Independent Host” – any day, any time, at any GDA restaurant.
