PW PIZZA  and its attached 21st Street Brewers Bar are housed in the Hamilton Group’s beautifully renovated building on Chouteau Ave., conveniently located along a bike trail, near the historic Lafayette neighborhood. The building is a model for how to take a historic building and retrofit it for efficiency while maintaining its historic charm, from countertops and chairs made from salvaged wood to modern touches like the solar panels in the parking lot.

PW Pizza makes delicious pizza and calzones with a focus on seasonal ingredients, often sourced from their urban farm, that pair nicely with any of the dozens of local beers on tap in the 21st Street Brewers Bar, where 80% of the beers of their enormous selection are local. They make their BBQ sauce, honey sriracha, salad dressings, and other sauces in-house, as well as all of their dough. Tomatoes and basil mostly come from their urban farm during the growing season, and they have a wide selection of Fox River Cheeses on their menu – they even use Fox River figs on their salads!

PW composts all of their food scraps, keeping organic material out of the landfill and methane out of the atmosphere. LED lights, energy offsets, and Energy Star rated appliances help reduce their emissions as well.

Vegans rejoice! PW Pizza can make any of their cheesy treats with Daiya instead of mozzarella. A must-visit for out-of-towners and St. Louis history enthusiasts.
