PURAVEGAN is dedicated to community health and wellness, with fresh juices, an all-vegan menu, cooking and gardening classes, and yoga, located near beautiful Forest Park.

PuraVegan is a community meeting place, where guests can enjoy healthy, delicious, affordable lunches and early dinners in a comfortable, loving environment. PuraVegan cares about the health of the planet as well as their customer’s health, and they take care to reduce their waste whenever possible. They make nearly all of their breads in house and they make all of their sauces from scratch, reducing packaging waste. No single-serving condiment packets, which are never recyclable, are used in the restaurant or for to-go orders; neither are single-use plastic bags. Old yoga schedules are reused as scrap paper, making sure that paper is used to its fullest potential before being recycled.

Most impressively, PuraVegan employs a unique, innovative solution to single-use disposable items that often plague other juice bars – reusable Bell jars for their juice delivery. Their bicycle delivery service, Food Pedaler, only delivers juices in these jars, which can be returned for store credit.

Employees help drive the environmental policies and actions of PuraVegan, spearheading actions like taking any plastic bags and wrapping they get to be recycled at a proper facility, asking before giving plastic cutlery, and more.
