Bijoux Handcrafted Chocolates in Webster Groves is a boutique chocolate shop known for its elegant, small-batch confections, crafted with high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients. The chocolatiers at Bijoux offer an assortment of truffles, caramels, bonbons, chocolate bars and more. Each piece at Bijoux is meticulously and beautifully handmade.

Bijoux’s chocolate couverture and cacao supplier is a certified B corporation committed to 100% traceability, supporting farmers in developing countries, offering fair pricing, promoting zero deforestation and ensuring fair labor practices among other sustainable initiatives. Even their vanilla producer directly sources from small farms – Sava Trading Company from Kansas City forms partnerships with local growers and invests in education, poverty alleviation, clean water and healthcare. Bijoux also sources local pecans, honey, direct-trade tea, coffee and even occasionally locally foraged ingredients.

Owner Meggie Mobley’s careful production and storage practices ensure very little goes to waste in her shop. Any products nearing their expiration go on sale at a discount and any chocolate that isn’t perfect (a rare occurrence) is remelted into new pieces. Bijoux saves and reuses the packaging from their ingredients, and customers are encouraged to bring their own packaging back to be cleaned and reused.

Bijoux collaborates with local (and GDA certified!) vendors Coffeestamp and Sugarwitch often. They are very active in the community, donating to charities and nonprofits (like Rung for Women, PROMO and The Noble Neighbor) weekly. We’re proud to add them to our growing group of  Webster Groves restaurants and welcome them as a member.
