The Green Dining Alliance and St. Louis Earth Day are putting on our third annual Taste of Green fundraiser October 25th from 6pm-8pm at Willow in downtown St. Louis!
The Taste of Green will feature 15 Green Dining Alliance Certified restaurants and breweries, providing samples of their finest food and beer – all served in compostable or recyclable containers with compostable cutlery.
Our wonderful Recycling On the Go team will be making sure our event is Zero Waste, composting and recycling all materials at their famous Waste Stations. Any leftover food will be donated to Anointed Hands Ministries’ food pantry, making sure no delicious food goes to waste!
The Taste of Green includes fun activities like the Fish Eye Fun photo booth and a silent auction filled with unique items and experiences. DJs Makeda Kravitz and Orlandez (of KDHX fame) will be spinning old school jams and modern grooves to light up the dance floor.
Proceeds from this Zero Waste tasting event will help fund the Green Dining Alliance, Recycling On the Go, the St. Louis Earth Day Festival, and our Recycling Extravaganzas. Tickets are just $50, but you can get an even better deal by joining the Green Dining Club – click here to learn more about this amazing program!
Participating restaurants include: The Dam, 4 Hands Brewing Company, Big Sky Cafe, Confluence Kombucha, Cafe Natasha, Ferguson Brewing Company, Flavor 360, Hugo’s Pizzeria, Kakao Chocolate, Salt + Smoke, Schlafly Beer, Schlafly Bottleworks, Seed Sprout Spoon, Small Batch, and Urban Chestnut Brewing Company! In addition to the beer samples included with the tasting ticket, Willow will be serving special cocktails in honor of St. Louis Earth Day’s 30th anniversary in 2019 at their cash bar.
