Today is the day! Dining Out For Life® is a national, annual fundraising event where more than 3,000 restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds from this one special day of dining to a licensed AIDS service agency in their city.
This year there are eight GDA-certified restaurants participating in the Saint Louis’s Effort for AIDS’ annual Dining Out for Life! You can see which restaurants are involved with the GDA here and plan your dinner now.
Today, on Thursday, April 24th, support the planet and its people by dining at one of these GDA-certified restaurants:
- Atlas Restaurant
- Atomic Cowboy
- Handlebar
- Mangia Italiano
- Onesto Trattoria & Pizzaria
- Schlafly Bottleworks
- Schalfly Taproom
- Water Street (pending certification)
Sustainability isn’t just about ‘going green’ – social sustainability keeps our communities happy, healthy, and in tune with the needs of our neighbors.
The Green Dining Alliance applauds its members who have gone above and beyond ‘business as usual’ and have joined the fight against AIDS.
And, don’t forget that you can #EatGreen today as well as this Earth Day weekend – Saturday night (with more drinks!) at Earth Day Eve, and from 10-6pm on Sunday at the 25th annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival! Read more about our GDA-certified Festival foods here.
Keep using that fork for change!
