Greening up the city!

Green Dining Alliance ‘Member restaurants’ offer us delicious, sustainable eats in more and more communities around St. Louis, as well as our city’s favorite events!

New Members are added to our Find a Restaurant List every month. February’s new Members, Onesto and The Dam, both scored in the highest star rating available, and they’ll both be present at the premier foodie event:

Iron Fork

Five GDA Members will be strutting their eco-friendly stuff at Iron Fork this year, along with many other STL restaurant superstars. Buy tickets for unlimited tastings from 37 fabulous eateries around town – and be sure to sample from these GDA-certified establishments:

And speaking of The Dam…

4-star GDA Member The Dam: award-winning and super green

If you haven’t had a chance to stop in for a bite at Morganford’s award-winning burger joint, The Dam, you haven’t yet experienced “Slow Food Fast.” It’s not easy to find a burger/hot dog/grab-and-go shack offering affordable, all-American fare that doesn’t cause some hand-wringing from environmentalists.

Rest assured, this 4-star GDA Member uses sustainable meats, local produce, and all compostable disposables. The casual feel of this community spot is an added bonus (while you eat, you’ll see four or five customers walk in who know the cooks and cashier by name).
